ABOUT ME
I am a current Auburn University senior majoring in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production Management. I have always had a creative mindset and have always loved clothing. I got my first sewing machine when I was 10 years old, and from then on I taught myself how to sew and make my own clothing. Early in high school I had a passion for swimwear, and I decided to make my own to fit my style and my body. To this day, swimwear is still my favorite to design and create. I love learning new techniques and discovering new ways to make my work better from the last. My hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, traveling, cooking, and taking my dog on hikes.
Career Goals
After I graduate from Auburn University, I plan to move to Florida to work for an apparel company and design clothing for them! I would love to be more on the design side of the industry since it is my passion and my biggest strength. I would also like to utilize my marketing minor to help market the company through social media.
Logo
When designing my logo, I wanted to achieve a minimalistic, classic look. I feel as if this decision was best in order to make my portfolio look clean and put together. I chose black and white because I really love neutral colors together and the sleekness of it. My designs include a lot of neutrals, but I also love adding pops of color. My logo is simple and lets the designs make a statement on their own.
Design Philosophy
Creating and designing what I love is very important to me. Staying true to what I love makes me work harder on my projects and designs. I want to design good quality, fun and trendy garments for women that represent my style and makes women feel comfortable and confident in their skin. I want my work to show who I am and be proud of my work.
